If you are located in Ottawa, Canada we work a hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in office.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>About the team</p>\n<p>The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic finance partner to Kinaxis’ Professional Services function. This role provides forward-looking financial insight, analysis, and performance measurement to support informed decision-making and enable sustainable, profitable growth.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>By translating complex financial and operational information into clear, actionable insights, this role helps stakeholders understand the financial implications of services growth initiatives, capacity planning, and profitability-focused operational decisions.</p>\n<h2></h2>\n<p>What you will do</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as a strategic finance partner to the Professional Services leadership team, developing a strong understanding of revenue drivers, capacity planning, and margin dynamics.</li>\n <li>Lead quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting for the Professional Services function, owning integrated revenue and expense models and coordinating inputs across Services leadership, HR, and Corporate FP&A.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain financial models to assess performance and forecast outcomes, with a focus on headcount planning, utilization, backlog-to-revenue conversion, and delivery margin scenarios.</li>\n <li>Evaluate the financial implications of headcount and capacity decisions in a large, global organization, including hiring plans, role mix, regional deployment, and billable versus non-billable trade-offs.</li>\n <li>Analyze financial results and operational KPIs, identifying trends, variances, and key drivers to support informed, timely decision-making.</li>\n <li>Own monthly reporting and quarterly business reviews, delivering clear, decision-oriented analysis that explains performance versus plan and highlights key risks and opportunities.</li>\n <li>Manage and prioritize a high volume of analytical requests, distilling complex or ambiguous inputs into clear, actionable insights for senior and cross-functional stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Prepare and present financial insights, recommendations, and scenarios in a concise, executive-ready manner.</li>\n <li>Contribute to the evolution of FP&A processes, tools, and reporting standards, and provide informal leadership through mentoring and collaboration.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What we are looking for</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Post-secondary degree in accounting, business, or related field; CPA designation or MBA preferred.</li>\n <li><strong>5+ years of progressive experience</strong> in financial planning and analysis, finance, or a related analytical role; experience in a global technology company is an asset.</li>\n <li>Experience partnering with stakeholders across the business and building effective working relationships.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize inputs and develop clear recommendations.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders.</li>\n <li>High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and data integrity.</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt to changing priorities and incorporate feedback to remain aligned with stakeholder needs.</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting business cases through cross-functional collaboration and financial analysis.</li>\n <li>Experience with accounting and financial planning systems (e.g., NetSuite and Planful)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#Senior #LI-KH1</p>\n<h2></h2>\n<p><strong>Work With Impact:</strong> Our platform directly helps companies power the world’s supply chains.
