    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Our recent acquisition by Snap-on, Inc., a leading global innovator, manufacturer, and marketer of tools, equipment, diagnostics, repair information, and systems solutions provides us with even greater opportunities to realize our vision.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <strong>Assembly Technician</strong> will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly, calibration, and packaging of production items at our San Jose, CA Headquarters.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs mechanical assembly on production items.</li>\n <li>Assists in material and packaging processing.</li>\n <li>Assists in the calibration of all Mountz products.</li>\n <li>Conducts all tasks/responsibilities keeping always in mind the Manufacturing Department objectives and the continual improvement of Mountz's Quality Management System.</li>\n <li>Supports and participates in the company's health and safety program.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complex Mechanical Assembly</li>\n <li>Simple Electronic Assembly:</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>RoHS-Compliant Assembly Experience</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Handling and/or Inspection of PCBAs</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Through-hole Hand Soldering</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Hand-Soldering Wires Experience</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Cutting, Stripping, & Crimping Wires</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pre-set hand-tool calibration</li>\n <li>Hand-tool QC</li>\n <li>Firmware Download into PCB</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Prerequisites:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>J-STD-001 Familiarity and/or Certification</strong></li>\n <li><strong>IPC-A-610 Familiarity and/or Certification</strong></li>\n <li><strong>IPC/WHMA-A-620 Familiarity and/or Certification</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
