We help patients during some of the most vulnerable, painful moments of their lives – and Speech Pathologists (SLP) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent treatment every step of the way.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Why Join Us:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Start Strong:</strong> Extensive orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into our setting.</li>\n <li><strong>Opportunity for Advancement: </strong>Demonstrate your skills and dedication which could lead to potential full-time opportunities</li>\n <li><strong>Foster Well-being: </strong>We offer benefits which support the financial, work/life and emotional well-being of you and your family members.  <strong>Part time/Per Diem</strong> positions are eligible for 401k based on reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year. </li>\n <li><strong>Your Impact Matters:</strong> Join a team of over 44,000 committed to providing exceptional patient care</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will take initiative, responsibility, and action every day; you understand physical, mental, psychological and social needs of your patients.</li>\n <li>You have an understanding of communication skills, evaluation, and treatment and a desire to work in collaboration with associates to provide quality interdisciplinary patient programming.</li>\n <li>You will provide a comprehensive evaluation of communication skills and/or swallowing function and provide goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential.</li>\n <li>Participates with fellow staff in monitoring the quality of services provided by the Rehab Therapy Department.</li>\n <li>Participates in peer review for staff performance and appraisals.</li>\n <li>Assists in the development of the SLP role in programs and services, as well as revising the departmental policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Assists in maintaining an adequate stock of supplies.</li>\n <li>Exhibits willingness to share professional knowledge and experience. Alerts the Manager to educational needs</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.</li>\n <li>Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</em></p>",
