FCSN Adaptive Supported Living Services (ASLS) is seeking an energetic, patient, detail-oriented, and reliable direct support staff. The Direct Support Professional provides adaptive supported living services to adults with developmental disabilities who live in their own homes. The DSP provide one-to-one support in client’s homes or out in the community.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">We are looking for people who are mission driven and who care about supporting people in need. We are looking for people who enjoy working with people with developmental disabilities who may have complex service needs. This may include working with clients who have low verbal abilities, poor comprehension, and some behavioral challenges. We are also looking for people who are interested in teaching and role modeling a positive lifestyle. Candidate’s availability and flexibility to work when needed is a plus. In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) providers are encouraged to apply.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB DUTIES:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide in-home support to clients who live in their own homes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Consistently implement established behavior support strategies to reduce potential health, safety, and other risks and ensure clients’ well-being</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Support clients with Service Plan which may include but not limited to the following: shopping, budgeting, safety awareness, community access, positive relationship building, physical fitness, positive recreation, anger management, behavior and crisis intervention, coping skills, and maintaining a clean and healthy home environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Address basic care needs of clients including but not limited to the following: medical, nutritional, hygienic, activities of daily living, social, recreational, personal management, transportation, meal preparations, and personal hygiene needs which may require exposure to bodily fluids (feces, urine, blood etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Assist client with household management needs including but not limited to the following: regular household maintenance, developing schedules and routines, record keeping, documentation, and paying bills etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Monitor client progress towards Individual Service Plan (ISP) objectives by maintaining and submitting daily/weekly/monthly progress notes to Case Manager</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Support client in a person centered manner</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Transport clients in the community, for the doctor appointment, or attend adult day program as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Responsible for the health and safety of assigned client</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Attend required training and staff meetings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Bi-lingual in Mandarin is a plus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">RBT certification is a plus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Must be 18 years of age;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Has high school diploma or GED</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">One year or more experience working with the developmentally disabled preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Possess a valid California state driver’s license, current registration, and valid vehicle insurance</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Ability to work independently and display good independent judgment;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Strong time management skills, patient, and detailed oriented;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
