SCM leverages fundamental and intra-basin knowledge to optimize the value of producer resources, reduce bottlenecks and deliver higher netbacks to the producer.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>POSITION SUMMARY</p><p>The Gas Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when discovered before they have a chance to worsen. Reports to the Technical Services Manager. This position has no supervisor responsibilities</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Carries out routine maintenance and testing activities.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Completes fault-finding and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Modifies, repairs, or replaces systems and equipment.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Installs new systems and equipment as required.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Interprets technical drawings and updates with any changes following the installation of new systems and equipment.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Orders spares and consumables as required on an ongoing basis.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Prepares reports on work activities.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Reports any breaches of safety procedures to supervision/management.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Participates and promotes company health and safety campaigns policies and procedures and ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Provides support as part of the installation emergency response team.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Performs other related duties as assigned by management.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Other skills required:&nbsp;</p><p>o<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.</p><p>o<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Physically capable and available to work overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.</p><p>o<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Effective problem-solving abilities.</p><p>o<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p><p>o<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks</p><p><br></p>\n    </div>\n  </div></div>\n",
