A successful candidate is either a practicing Catholic in good standing, or one who will support and uphold the Catholic mission of Fr Augustine Tolton Regional Catholic High School and the Diocese of Jefferson City.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><br>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Program Management:<br>Work with the Athletic Director to establish high level goals and strategic plan for the program.<br>Provide age / skill appropriate instruction.<br>Work with the Athletic Director to create competition and practice schedules.<br>Take all necessary precautions to protect student athletes, equipment, materials, and facilities<br>Keep informed of and ensure compliance with all school and MSHSAA policies<br>Monitor and enforce student eligibility criteria for extracurricular participation.<br>Protect the reputation of the School and Athletic Department by ensuring proper sportsmanship is demonstrated by players and assistant coaches at all times.<br>Accompany and supervise student athletes during athletic competitions and practices<br>Apply and enforce student discipline during contests, practices, and while on trips off school property in accordance with school and MSHSAA policies<br>Help develop each student-athlete in spirit, heart, mind, and body.</p><p><br><strong>General:</strong><br>Establish and maintain open communication with athletic department, parents, students, and necessary school administration.<br>Demonstrate support for the mission of Fr. Tolton Catholic High School by attitude, words, and actions.<br>Assist in maintaining discipline by enforcing the expectations in the Student Handbook<br>Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Athletic Director</p><p><br><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)<br>Previous coaching experience (preferred)<br>General knowledge of coaching and expertise in specific sport / Activity.<br>Ability to instruct and supervise students and student athletes<br>Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations</p><p><br><strong>Submit Resume to:</strong><br>Pat Kelly -Athletic Director / Vice Principal<br><a target=\"_blank\">[email protected]</a>&nbsp;</p>",
