    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Peraton is currently seeking to hire an experienced <strong>AI/ML Data</strong><strong> Scientist </strong>to join our Federal Strategic Cyber program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location: Warrenton, VA</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Description:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Expertise and fluency in AI/ML techniques.</li>\n <li>Design, build, and maintain Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines using industry best practices.</li>\n <li>Work with data management teams to design transform scripts in languages like Python to convert raw data to standardized data schemas.</li>\n <li>Implement and manage containerization strategies using OpenShift/Kubernetes.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines into the software development lifecycle.</li>\n <li>Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and availability.</li>\n <li>Automate infrastructure and application deployment processes.</li>\n <li>Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout all DevOps procedures.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years related technical experience required. \n  <ul>\n   <li>An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Demonstrated fluency in AI/ML techniques.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, etc.).</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Strong understanding of containerization principles (Docker, Podman, etc.).</strong></li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Experience interfacing with clients, technical support personnel, and other technical professionals to ensure efficient and effective service.</li>\n <li>U.S. Citizenship is required. </li>\n <li>Active Public Trust Clearance.</li>\n <li>Willingness and ability to travel 10-25%.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Experience with the Databricks Data and AI platform.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Proven experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes in production environments.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experience with Openshift/Kubernetes and other container-based platforms.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experience implementing and utilizing AI models to explore and refine data.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experience training task specific AI models for normalization and alerting.</strong></li>\n <li>Experience with SAFe Agile testing environments.</li>\n <li>Experience using OpenShift to run microservice architectures designed to manage scale of data transformation processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
