This position oversees and leads a team that delivers a wide range of building projects that support expanded client relationships and growing our building’s portfolio. This position drives creativity and innovation through architectural design that enhances operational excellence, profitability, and operational efficiency.  The Studio Leader position focuses on team building, improving client relationships, personnel management, mentorship and growth, while ensuring quality deliverables and providing subject matter expertise. If you have a history of long-term working relationships within the Aviation market, strong technical architectural acumen, a desire to impart your knowledge on evolving architects, and the drive to elevate design…then your skills are in alignment with our position.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides leadership and oversight to a team of architectural professionals with a shared focus of ensuring client satisfaction and quality outcomes. Leads the development of a top-in class design and production team by developing and retaining existing associates and recruiting new talent and capabilities to the firm. Fosters a diverse knowledge of appropriate discipline principles and techniques</li>\n <li>Oversees and leads the delivery of multiple, high-profile design projects that are critical to expanding client relationships and growing our portfolio. Drives operational excellence, including profitability, operational efficiency, resource management, and quality deliverables. Provides subject matter expertise throughout the project.</li>\n <li>Creates an engaging and empowering work environment for team, including communicating clear expectations and providing effective performance feedback through regular meetings, recognition, rewards, coaching, and disciplinary action, when needed.</li>\n <li>Leads client relationship development activities while working closely with client managers and business development teams to drive top line sales growth</li>\n <li>Leads and oversees direct sales activities for the discipline, including submitting qualifications, LOIs, and proposals, and conducting presentations for winning new work. Encourages and supports new technologies, tools, and training, that will increase the output efficiency of proposals and presentations. Consults with strategy leaders to develop and implement pursuit strategies and techniques to improve sales performance, particularly for strategic/large (LPPs) pursuits. Consults with operational leadership to identify key hires to support strategic pursuits and market and geographic expansion. Consistently administers go/no go process to improve win rate and increase sales. Ensures pursuit quality management approach is consistently followed.</li>\n <li>Collaborates effectively with leaders, teams, and associates across the firm to help drive success. Creates an environment that promotes teamwork. Coordinates and reviews resource level with other Studio Leads to ensure client needs are satisfied and associates are exposed to diverse and escalating project responsibilities</li>\n <li>Ensures adherence to all client and regulatory requirements. Provides expertise on codes, quality assurance, and construction methods and materials</li>\n <li>Completes all other tasks as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires a bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or related field from an accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>\n <li>Requires professional registration/certification in discipline</li>\n <li>10+ years relevant experience</li>\n <li>Must possess thorough knowledge of architectural design, drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques, and costs. Must also have a solid knowledge of the relevant market sector. Must be capable of marketing services to existing and new clients, and adept at mentoring and encouraging a team to maximize their abilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in a relevant field, from an accredited program</li>\n <li>Design Build project experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>An Equal Opportunity Employer.
