    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>This Opportunity</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">WSP is currently initiating a search for a&nbsp;<strong>Full-Time Construction Manager</strong>&nbsp;to work out of <strong>Atlanta</strong>, <strong>GA</strong>.&nbsp;The successful candidate will have experience providing construction and technical direction on building/facilities construction related projects; and will have experience in construction oversight of&nbsp;small to medium, multi-discipline projects from the time of assignment to commissioning, close-out, and turnover to client.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Your Impact</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Support the Project Manager in tendering works, bid reviews and bid analysis.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Manage construction projects upon award of contracts.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Contractor coordination.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Budget monitoring &amp; schedule monitoring with adherence to cost and delivery contractual commitments.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Construction monitoring and thorough documentation of project delivering a weekly report on project status.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Maintain a weekly construction log in a terse, professional format.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Record and document significant verbal, telephone, and media messaging.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Quality control, documentation and resolution of poor-quality fabrication, installation or materials by general contractors, trade disciplines, and suppliers.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Change order control, including detailed knowledge of change and contractual requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Job safety, monitoring, and compliance with WSP and USPS’s safety, health and environmental (SH&amp;E) requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Project start-up meetings and documentation and attendance in meetings including safety program.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Manage and assist in responding to RFI’s, material and equipment submittals and shop drawings.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Interface with the client as required or defined for program.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Project turnover of documentation, to include but not limited to; as-built drawings, training manuals, OEM installation/ operation &amp; maintenance manuals.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Equipment and systems testing and commissioning.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Field assignments are local and regional depending on technical capabilities and desire to travel. Overnight travel is estimated to be up to 100%.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Implementation of standards in compliance with USPS/WSP program requirements and seeks guidance and direction from Sr. construction managers in the planning, execution, and delivery of similar project requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Possess knowledge of construction processes.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Demonstrate construction management skills in the management of integration/coordination of project elements, scope management, time management, cost management, quality assurance, managing changes in priorities and communication management in the generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and ultimate disposition of project information.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Ensure that projects are successfully completed on schedule, within the approved budget and in accordance with applicable quality standards and contract requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Clear and precise record keeping meeting contract requirements and regulatory requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Compliance with all USPS/WSP applicable Environmental, Health and Safety requirements in the performance of the projects.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Types of buildings worked with include, but are not limited to offices, light industrial facilities, maintenance facilities.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Who You Are</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or relevant.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Experience working with outside 3rd&nbsp;party vendors, suppliers, and contractors.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Minimum of 7 years of experience and demonstrated success with construction management or related disciplines.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Ability to self-motivate with an entrepreneurial spirit. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, MS Project. Familiar with Blue-Beam, AutoCAD, and project management software such as Procore a plus, but not required (candidate must be willing to learn software as applicable).</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Experience working with direct and indirect resources, minimum of 5+ years acting in a construction management capacity or supervisory role on light industrial or commercial projects.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of environmental, safety and health regulatory compliance.
