Description
Delaware Valley University student employment – Athletics – Training Room
We are looking for a DVU student to join our Training Room team!
Reporting to Matt Kelly, the hours are 8-15 per week, Mornings, nights and weekends are included depending on the athletics schedule. We are seeking students who would like to commit to the position beyond one semester.
Essential job responsibilities:
Assist the athletic training staff with practice and game set ups and breakdown as needed per sport.
Opportunity to learn basic taping and wrapping
Take water down the fields for practice on the golf cart
Work nights and weekends
Assist with basic everyday operations in training room
Preferred qualifications include:
Reliable, dependable, trustworthy
Valid driver’s license
Good communication and people skills
Time management
Leadership skills
Physical demands and working conditions for this position include:
Must be able to lift over 30 pounds
Exposure to weather
Typically standing or walking
May have alternative work schedule
Requirements:
Must be a Del Val student
Must include an updated resume
