    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian<strong> Dental Assistant </strong>at<strong> Hickam Airforce Base in Honolulu, Hawaii. </strong></p>\n<p><strong>This position offers:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monday-Friday Hours</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off</li>\n <li>Opportunity to care for our Military Families</li>\n <li>Annual Salary estimated at $55K depending on experience. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Assist dentists in restorative, surgical, prosthodontic, endodontic, and periodontal procedures.</p></li>\n <li><p>Prepare patients, sterilize instruments, and maintain dental equipment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Record medical/dental histories, chart treatment information, and manage reports.</p></li>\n <li><p>Take intraoral and extraoral X-rays; maintain and perform minor repairs on radiography equipment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.</p></li>\n <li><p>Pour and trim models, construct custom trays, and support lab functions.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Education:</strong> Completion of one of the following:</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>CODA-accredited Dental Assistant/Technician program</p></li>\n   <li><p>Military or Red Cross dental assistant certification</p></li>\n   <li><p>36 months of experience as a Dental Assistant (within the past 60 months)</p></li>\n   <li><p>State-accredited Dental Assistant program (within the past 12 months)</p></li>\n   <li><p>AADA member in good standing with required CE</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p><strong>Experience:</strong> At least 6 months as a Dental Assistant post-graduation</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Certifications:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Basic Life Support (BLS)</p></li>\n   <li><p>Radiography certification. </p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p><strong>Training:</strong> Coursework must include radiation physics, safety, and radiographic techniques</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Completion of qualifying and credentialing packages.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must meet all security clearance and background requirements prior to start.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Why Join Us</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Serve a mission-focused military healthcare team</p></li>\n <li><p>Support high-quality patient care in a professional clinical environment</p></li>\n <li><p>Stable, rewarding federal contract position</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>For more informaton contact:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Betty Fisk</strong></p>\n<p><strong>314-744-4130</strong></p>\n<p><strong>[email protected]</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Company Overview:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>At Spectrum, we utilize over thirty-five years of experience providing optimal solutions for federal agencies that are both innovative and cost-effective.
