Description

Project Manager For Building Construction Company IDL Projects Inc. (IDL) is a dynamic, rapidly expanding company focused on providing a broad array of construction services in Canada and internationally. Position Summary The Building Construction Project Manager will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of building projects. This role requires excellent project management skills, technical expertise in building construction, and the ability to manage diverse project teams and subcontractors. The Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and manage building construction projects from inception to completion, including commercial, industrial, and institutional developments. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met. Provide clear direction to the project team and ensure optimum utilization of resources (labour, materials, and equipment) Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure they are in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and building codes. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals. Resolve construction-related issues, including conflicts with subcontractors, design changes, and logistical challenges. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with legal regulations, company policies, and client requirements. Monitor and control project costs, recommending corrective actions as needed to stay within budget. Conduct final inspections and coordinate the handover of completed projects to clients, ensuring all punch-list items are addressed. Employment Criteria
