    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">The position of Fertilizer Applicator is of great significance to Valley Wide Cooperative. &nbsp; &nbsp;A person in this position is responsible for operation of custom application equipment in the application of fertilizer and chemicals to customer&rsquo;s fields in a safe, accurate, efficient and timely manner as well as promote the proper use of crop protection products.&nbsp;<span style=\"background-color: transparent;\" id=\"isPasted\">This is a safety-sensitive position.&nbsp;</span></span></p><p><br></p><p><u>Job Summary</u>:</p><p>These are the <strong><u>basic requirements</u></strong> of the position and must be performed competently.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Loading and mixing fertilizer and pesticide formulas.</li><li>Ability to follow and interpret fertilizer and pesticide labels.</li><li>Performing all applications in a timely manner and on schedule.</li><li>Maintaining application logs and other records as necessary.</li><li>Reading field maps and global positioning devices.</li><li>Working around and handling hazardous materials properly.</li><li>Performing daily inspection of equipment and minor repairs as needed.</li><li>Willingness to work extended hours as needed.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u>ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES:</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Must currently have or ability to obtain Idaho Professional Applicators license with all applicable endorsements.</li><li>Must have a Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.</li><li>Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.</li><li>Must have strong communication skills; ability to communicate in appropriate, professional manner with managers, supervisors, employees, customers, vendors and general public.</li><li>Must be able to make appropriate decisions and execute them according to policy.</li><li>Must maintain appropriate and expected levels of customer service throughout the location.</li><li>Must have ability to determine order of need and task priority based on level of importance.</li><li>Must exhibit a professional and positive image.</li></ul><p><br></p></div>\n",
