As a member of our Deals Advisory practice, you will have the opportunity to assist clients in a key phase of their potential mergers, acquisitions or divestitures projects. We help some of the world’s leading companies including MNC, Private Equity, Public listed and privately held companies evaluate their deals and assess the value of businesses.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Analyse historical financial data and identify operational and key business trends.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Assess key deal issues, including quality of earnings, net debt and working capital impacting valuation of the target company.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Assist in the valuation of businesses, shares, intangible assets, and purchase price allocations (PPA).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Build and maintain financial models to assess business performance and value companies using appropriate valuation methodologies (e.g., DCF, market multiples);</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Perform market research and benchmarking analysis using data service providers such as S&amp;P Capital IQ;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Assist in the preparation of client deliverables and presentations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Coordinate and attend meetings with deal stakeholders and other advisors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Support any business development initiatives covering the preparation of proposals.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Strong academic background and either in the progress of studying towards or willingness to obtain a financial qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CVA or equivalent.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in international accounting firms, preferably with exposure to financial due diligence or valuation, but we will consider candidates with similar skills (i.e. Audit &amp; Assurance, M&amp;A, business analytics) and the aptitude to learn. Candidates with no experience but with strong academic achievement or internship experience will be considered for the entry role.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Strong analytical skills complemented by strong business acumen.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Good understanding of relevant financial reporting standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Excellent written and oral communication.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, PowerPoint and Word).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Familiar with the use of research/technical tools such as S&amp;P CIQ, Mergermarket, Bloomberg</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Highly adaptable, able to work independently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Keen to work in an international environment with teams across geographies to meet client requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proficient in spoken and written English; any added language proficiency is a plus to liaise with international clients or targets.</span></li>\n</ul>",
