    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Sharepoint System Administrator to support a major national laboratory. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor, maintain, and repair physical and virtual server systems. </li>\n <li>Resolve technical issues affecting hardware, operating systems, or applications.</li>\n <li> Apply operating system or application patches, install or replace hardware, and implement configuration changes to improve or restore system performance. </li>\n <li>Perform system capacity analysis and planning. </li>\n <li>Assist users in accessing and using business systems. </li>\n <li>Develop instructions and procedures for system maintenance, create scripts to automate monitoring and repair tasks, and conduct quality assurance checks. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with customers, subject matter experts, and architects to analyze, evaluate, and optimize systems. </li>\n <li>Contribute to process development and system improvement efforts.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in relevant discipline plus minimum 2 years or more years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job.</li>\n <li>Must have an Active DOE Security Clearance</li>\n <li>Must be US Citizen</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Required Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong site knowledge</li>\n <li> Server and SharePoint on line knowledge</li>\n <li>Windows Server patching</li>\n <li>Power BI Report Server</li>\n <li>PowerShell scripting</li>\n <li>Firewall</li>\n <li>General networking skills and knowledge</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Project Management practices</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Us: </strong></p>\n<p>Edgewater Federal Solutions is a privately held government contracting firm located in Frederick, MD.
