BR+A provides state-of-the-art integrated and coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection consulting engineering, technology systems design, lighting design, and building commissioning services.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">BR+A is seeking a Technology Systems Designer for our Miami, FL office. This position&rsquo;s responsibilities include:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Providing Engineering, Design work, and drafting of plans</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Implementing approved system concepts from a schematic diagram to floor plans</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sketches, rough layouts to review with project engineer or Project Manager</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reviewing product cut sheets and technical information</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicating with Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Meeting with vendors to determine spatial requirements for application of the product</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinating with other disciplines and the architect</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Attending meetings as required, working to submit the required documentation per project deadlines</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Attending in-house coordination meetings when appropriate</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Developing strategy to meet project schedule</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assisting in development of engineering systems concepts (M/E)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assisting design team on major design issues</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Organizing required technical correspondence, emails and calculations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performing field work and verification of existing conditions</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required experience and skills:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Qualified experience using Autodesk Revit design software</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum of 3 years of experience designing Information and Communications Technology systems (Data Networks, cDAS, Nurse Call, Electronic Security, Paging, Wireless, etc.)</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">BR+A is a place to learn, to grow, to work hard for clients that matter &ndash; and to be part of something bigger.
