    "description": "<p>Martin Concrete Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and driven<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Assistant Project Manager – Mission Critical</span><span> </span>to support concrete construction projects for data centers, power facilities, waste/water treatment plants, and other high-reliability environments. This role is perfect for a construction professional eager to grow their career by contributing to complex, fast-paced, and schedule-driven projects while working alongside experienced teams.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This position is based in the Kennesaw office; however, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">based on contractual and project requirements, the role may require full-time assignment at a project job site and will involve travel as needed.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do</span></span></p>\n<p>As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll support the successful execution of mission-critical concrete projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and with the highest quality standards.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinating project planning, scheduling, and logistics with the Project Executive and operations team<br></li>\n<li>Support project execution onsite, coordinating with field teams, clients, and leadership</li>\n<li>Managing document control, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and contract documents</li>\n<li>Tracking field progress daily using Bluebeam and maintaining logs for weather, production, and materials</li>\n<li>Expediting materials and communicating with vendors to ensure timely deliveries</li>\n<li>Reviewing invoices, verifying pay applications, and ensuring accurate cost coding</li>\n<li>Leading weekly jobsite meetings and documenting minutes to keep stakeholders aligned</li>\n<li>Supporting punch-list management and driving successful project close-outs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">3+ years of experience</span><span> </span>as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer on large concrete projects</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications with a specific focus on concrete scopes of work</li>\n<li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment</li>\n<li>Superior communication and organizational skills to keep teams aligned and projects moving forward</li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and field staff</li>\n<li>Proficiency with construction software, including Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Plan Grid, Procore, and Microsoft Project</li>\n<li>Comfortable working primarily onsite in an active construction environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Experience</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>OSHA Certification</li>\n<li>Bilingual (English/Spanish)</li>\n<li>Experience with AutoCAD and Tekla</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Why Join Martin Concrete Construction?</span></p>\n<p><span>At Martin Concrete Construction, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
