    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Superintendent of Maintenance, the Foreman assists in supervising maintenance personnel and overseeing vehicle repair and maintenance activities. Job duties include:</p><ol><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Supervising vehicle repair and maintenance activities.</li><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Assigning work to employees using Oracle.</li><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Reviewing work orders for time and material usage.</li><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Monitoring employee attendance.</li><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Responding to road calls.</li><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Providing instructions and on-the-job training to mechanics.</li><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Generating and reviewing reports.</li><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Performing administrative duties.</li><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Updating and maintaining vehicle repair logs.</li><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Overseeing vehicle servicing, interior cleaning, and facility repairs.</li><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Inspecting the facility for safety and security compliance.</li><li style=\"line-height:107%;\">Performing other duties as required.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><p><strong>Age:</strong></p><p>Must be 21 and over.</p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>High school diploma or equivalency</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>Must have at least four years prior experience with diesel/gas maintenance and repair and/or technical training to include diesel engines, bus electrical, suspension and hydraulic systems, DOT regulations, and preventative maintenance, and must have a good work record; supervisory experience is preferred.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Certifications/Licenses:</strong></p><p>Must have or able to obtain a Class A Illinois Commercial Driver's License with airbrake and passenger endorsements within 90 days of being hired.&nbsp;</p><p>Must have DOT certification.</p><p>A/C certification is preferred.</p><p><strong>Proficiencies:</strong></p><p>Must pass the Foreman exam&nbsp;</p><p>Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to read and follow blueprint, schematics, and maintenance manuals.&nbsp;</p><p>Must be proficient using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.</p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><p>Work is performed in an office setting, in a garage, and outdoors. May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds and noise levels throughout their workday. May be exposed to smells from gasoline, oil, other solvents, and other contaminants.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>This position is not eligible for telecommuting or a hybrid work schedule.&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p>Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods, operate assigned equipment, and lift and carry objects up to 100 pounds</p><p>This is a safety sensitive position.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong></p><p>Full salary range: $56,523-$118,757</p><p>Midpoint: $72,082-87,640</p><p>Starting salary range: $70,668-$84,813</p><p><strong>Pace provides full pay ranges so candidates can consider their growth potential.
