    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p><p>Prepares Patients for imaging in both the X-Ray and mammography department.</p><p>&nbsp;<br><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>Performs radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician.</li><li>Operates DR equipment.</li><li>Determines proper technique through the selection of voltage, current, and exposure time.</li><li>Positions patients for the proper view of the affected area.</li><li>Instructs patients as to the proper physiological requirements for the procedure.</li><li>Acquires patient medical history.</li><li>Complies with infection control procedures.</li><li>Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to themselves and to the patient.</li><li>Communicate compassionately and accurately to the patient to explain what they are about to experience.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Effective use of system applications to perform patient workflow.</li><li>Housekeeping items including but not limited to laundry, stocking of supplies, etc.</li><li>Attendance at meetings and training sessions may be required. These sessions could occasionally be scheduled outside of your regular working hours to accommodate business needs and training opportunities. (Open to on-the-job training for registered RTs).</li><li>Must continue to obtain the recommended amount of Continuing Educations Credits each year for your certifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Continuing education in accordance of the ARRT, ACR, and State of Michigan.</li></ul><p><br><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.&nbsp;</p><p><br><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong></p><p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
