This role focuses on ensuring reliability and efficiency of compression systems by performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and supporting safe, continuous operations. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on large horsepower compressor units and engines  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on compressors, engines, and related systems  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct preventative maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and component inspections  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Work on major compressor components such as cylinders, valves, pistons, rods, and bearings  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain and repair associated equipment including coolers, separators, and control systems  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete teardown and rebuilds of compressor engines and components as needed  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and P&IDs  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including LOTO and PPE requirements  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of experience working on large horsepower compressors and engines </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with compressor brands such as Ariel, Caterpillar, Waukesha, or Ajax preferred </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong knowledge of natural gas compression systems and engine mechanics </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience performing full overhauls and rebuilds on compressor units </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and performance issues independently </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in oil and gas environments </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, fit for duty and agility.  </li>\n</ul>",
