The position will work cross-functionally with all departments executing tasks such accounting close, commission reporting, operations, and ongoing support needs.</p><div><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><div><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Financial Accounting:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with performing related financial accounting, servicing, operating, and reporting activities as directed and assigned by management.</li><li>Administer G/L account reconciliations.</li><li>Responsible for Account Payable operating and equipment lease disbursements as directed.</li><li>Support the month end accounting close process and accounting &amp; analysis activities in accordance with parent accounting calendar.&nbsp;</li><li>Generate and produce month end accounting reports that are required for portfolio servicing, G/L account reconciliations, sales/use tax, cash management and other standard reporting requirements.</li><li>Other projects as directed and assigned by management.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting or Finance</li><li>Must have 2+ year of experience in financial services industry</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Must have knowledge and experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliation systems&nbsp;</li><li>Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel &nbsp;</li><li>Must have excellent analytical skills</li><li>Must have the ability to handle simultaneous projects and meet established deadlines</li><li>Must have good organizational and analytical skills and be detail oriented</li><li>Must have excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>Must be able to work independently to solve problems as well as work as a part of team on special projects and assignments</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><em>NewLane Finance is shaping the future of business finance, and we&#39;re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our company as we continue to grow our team.
