TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. </li>\n <li>Provides patient care collaboratively with the RN. </li>\n <li>Displays respect for the patient’s rights, dignity, values, confidentiality and expressed needs. </li>\n <li>Is adaptable, using evidenced based practice and information technologies while maintaining focus on providing comfort, relieving pain and alleviating anxiety. </li>\n <li>Performs tasks are in compliance with department and policies and procedures, and within educational preparation as well as the Florida Nurse Practice Act.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports To:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Nurse Manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of high school equivalency)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Two (2) to five (5) years of job-related experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensed as a practical nurse in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act).</li>\n <li> Florida LPN intravenous (IV) therapy certification. </li>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited instructor from the American Heart Association (AHA). </li>\n <li>Other specialized life support requirements designated by work area.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
