    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Welcome customers and direct them towards the different products they are seeking or are being promoted, if necessary.</li><li>Get to know the products and the store layout.</li><li>Process checkouts, with patience and a timely manner, while being efficient without losing focus on customer service.</li><li>Ensure that labeled products have the correct price and weight.</li><li>Make the correct transactions, distinguishing between credit card, WIC, Lone Star and cash.</li><li>Attention to detail when handling cash and ensuring that bills are not fake.</li><li>Bag and properly separate customer purchases.</li><li>Ensure that the customer takes all their items before proceeding to the next transaction.</li><li>Place all the merchandise that was returned or unwanted in its corresponding place.</li><li>Maintain the designated amount of products around the registers&#39; area to promote sales. (Medicine, shampoo and beverages, etc.).</li><li>Always maintain supplies stocked up for the shift such as bags, receipt paper rolls, and other necessary items for the register area.</li><li>Promote the sale of products to increase the sales throughout the shift.</li><li>Follow the rules and laws governing the sale of tobacco and alcohol.</li><li>Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.</li><li>Keep the work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards.
