    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hunt Electric, Inc</span>. is seeking an experienced<span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bilingual </span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety Coordinator<span> </span></span>for our Big Horn project. This position will be working directly with other project level functional lead to address safety/health requirements on the jobsite. This is a key position in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects from start to finish. This position requires an extended period of time at our onsite location.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The<span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bilingual </span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety Coordinator<span> </span></span>will be responsible for promoting a safe &amp; healthy work environment. This candidate will be responsible for continuous improvement of Environmental Health &amp; Safety (EHS) systems resulting in the reduction of incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct safety assessments/inspections of projects under construction to monitor and ensure compliance with safety/health requirements including contractual commitments, laws, regulations and the project’s site specific environmental, safety &amp; health plans. A strong emphasis will be on promoting and improving the companies “Safety leading measures” </li>\n<li>Collaborate with management to develop, prepare, and implement environmental, safety and security policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to eliminate workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.</li>\n<li>Assist the Safety &amp; Risk manager in the development of Method of Procedure (MOP) and critical activity plans.</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of injury prevention, compliance, and risk reduction techniques.</li>\n<li>Conduct investigations into employee or sub-contractor injuries, motor vehicle accidents, spills, discharges, theft, vandalism, property damages and develop written reports to document, including root cause analysis.</li>\n<li>As directed, conduct safety &amp; compliance training for supervisors &amp; field employees.</li>\n<li>Ability to lead and direct in an emergency event.</li>\n<li>Provide comprehensive written reports to document site visits, activities and incidents as needed.   </li>\n<li>Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.</li>\n<li>Actively contributes to a positive team environment.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.</li>\n<li>Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years’ safety experience in a construction setting and OSHA 500 or ASP or GSP. <br></li>\n<li>Electrical trade experience preferred.</li>\n<li>Must possess OSHA 30 construction certificate valid within 5 years.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of state and federal safety regulations as applied to construction and general industry.</li>\n<li>First Aid, CPR &amp; AED certifications.<br></li>\n<li>Self-driven, willing to work alone or as part of a team on assigned tasks and initiatives.</li>\n<li>Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.</li>\n<li>Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, supervisory and leadership skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to physically perform the duties and functions of the position.<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must be able to understand and speak fluent Spanish </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt\"> </span></p>\n<p>As a full-time<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span> Bilingual</span> Safety Coordinator</span>, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO). </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Hunt Electric</span></p>\n<p>Hunt Electric, Inc. is a full-service electrical, technology, and infrastructure contractor with wide-reaching services available in a variety of markets.
