Assistant/Associate Professor – Clinical Psychology Psy.D. Program in Clinical Psychology Chestnut Hill College – Philadelphia, PA The APA-accredited Psy.D. Program in Clinical Psychology at Chestnut Hill College invites applications for a full-time core faculty position beginning in August 2026. We are seeking a licensed (or license-eligible) psychologist with a child-focused specialization. This is a 12-month appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, as well as tenure-track status, is negotiable. About Chestnut Hill College Founded in 1924 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill College is an independent Catholic institution grounded in a strong liberal arts tradition that emphasizes holistic education and a commitment to justice and equality. The College is distinguished by its mission-centered culture, collegial environment, and dedication to personalized instruction supported by a small faculty-to-student ratio. Located in the historic Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Northwest Philadelphia, the College serves a culturally diverse student body. Responsibilities: Teaching two courses per semester across three consecutive semesters Serving on dissertation committees Providing clinical supervision Participating in departmental and College service Engaging in ongoing clinical practice, supervision, or consultation Additional details regarding responsibilities and expectations will be discussed with candidates invited for an interview. Qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program and be licensed or license-eligible in Pennsylvania. Formal training in child and family theory and therapy Professional experience providing child and family therapy to diverse clients and family constellations Professional experience conducting individual therapy with children Graduate-level teaching experience (doctoral-level preferred) Ability to teach courses in child and family psychology and other systems-informed areas Ability to provide systems-informed clinical supervision to students conducting individual, couple, family, or group therapy in practicum settings Ability to supervise doctoral dissertations across a range of expertise-related topics Ability to integrate cultural assessment, intervention, and considerations throughout teaching, training, and supervision Willingness to mentor students pursuing careers in professional practice with children and families Application Instructions Interested candidates should submit the following materials via ADP Workforce Now HERE .
