    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Quality Inspector III role is responsible for the day to day recording and validation of material between customers, vendors and operations.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Inspects materials and products, for conformance to specifications&nbsp;</li><li>Inspects finished product for quality and customer requirements.</li><li>Inspects finished or in-process fabricated or mechanical parts, equipment and assemblies of a complex nature and determines acceptance or rejection.</li><li>Carry out policies and procedures for testing and evaluating product.</li><li>Responsible for operating mechanical and electrical test equipment.</li><li>Working to Standard Operating Procedures (work instructions)</li><li>Assists in recording of Non-conformities of parts/product.</li><li>Assisting in the controlling/segregating of conforming vs. non-conforming parts /product</li><li>Evaluates parts or assemblies against standards, blueprints, engineering, and specifications</li><li>Leads and directs the work of others and assists in the training of less experienced inspectors.</li><li>Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions or injuries to your Supervisor or Manager immediately.</li><li>Ability to operate a CMM.</li><li>Assists in the training of less experienced inspectors.</li><li>Other duties, as assigned by supervision or management.</li><li>Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.</li><li>Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.</li><li>Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.</li><li>Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly.</li><li>Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p><p data-pasted=\"true\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p><u>Education and Experience:</u></p><ul><li>7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related field.</li><li>High school diploma or GED, and up to one year work experience.</li><li>Strong and extensive experience with portable and fixed CMM inspection equipment</li><li>Experience with coordinate measuring machine (CMM) programming a plus.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><u>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</u></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Knowledge</p><ul><li>Extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of inspection.</li><li>Familiar with a variety of the field&rsquo;s concepts, practices, and procedures.</li><li>Ability to perform calculations utilizing arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division normally attained through elementary school education.</li><li>Ability to perform calculations utilizing algebra and fractions.</li><li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li></ul><p>Technical Skills</p><ul><li>Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)</li><li>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must be proficient in PCDMIS and/or VDMIS.</li><li>&nbsp; &nbsp;Knowledge of Verisurf and Catia is a plus.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;Communication Skills</p><ul><li>Excellent communication skills, oral and written.</li><li>&nbsp;Ability to communicate simple facts with courtesy and clarity.</li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li></ul><p>Physical Requirements:</p><p>&nbsp;The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.</p><ul><li>The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.</li><li>The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.</li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</li></ul></div></div>\n",
