    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The portfolio analyst would sit directly with the portfolio managers and traders of the Investment Grade Income team, and aid in the implementation of strategy within Structured Products. This role would involve a breadth of tasks, from responding to client-specific requests, trade support, monitoring portfolios, and interfacing with other internal teams (ie. Accounting, operations, distribution enablement). This position will be based on San Francisco, CA.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days per week.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Location(s): San Francisco, CA</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Support Portfolio Managers with daily portfolio analytic and trading tasks.</li>\n <li>Provide daily support for institutional client base and sales and marketing efforts.</li>\n <li>Maintain, update, and develop spreadsheets to support models, provide for presentations and meet reporting needs.</li>\n <li>Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks that include portfolio characteristics, return information, performance attribution, market commentary, and presentations for internal and external clients.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>An undergraduate degree in business administration, finance, economics, statistics, or accounting is preferred.</li>\n <li>Proven analytical, problem solving, and quantitative abilities that can be demonstrated through coursework in finance, accounting, statistics, and math, as well as in work-related and project management experience.</li>\n <li>Ability to design PowerPoint presentations that tell the story through clean, concise, and well-organized slides.</li>\n <li>Must be able to interpret complex concepts and translate them into easy-to-understand graphs, charts, and visual graphics.</li>\n <li>Strong technical skills with demonstrated experience in advanced Excel formulas and functions.</li>\n <li>Superior organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership ability, a quick intellect, and a willingness to work in a \"hands-on\" environment.</li>\n <li>Business experience through internship, co-op, part-time, or full-time position preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and fluid environment</li>\n <li>Remain in stationary position for prolonged periods of time</li>\n <li>Operate computer programs and software</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats</li>\n <li>Day-to-day contact with others (co-workers and/or public)</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with capital markets and industry-specific jargon</li>\n <li>Familiarity with relevant systems such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and FXConnect, etc.</li>\n <li>Interested in pursuing CFA designation</li>\n <li>Conceptual understanding of macroeconomic trends and fixed income markets</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Please note</strong></em><em>: This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas.
