Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a <strong>Systems Engineer</strong> in <strong>Herndon, Virginia</strong>.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:   </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced MS Exchange Engineer with a strong background in Exchange administration and Windows infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Education: A Bachelor's or Master's Degree</li>\n <li>Experience: A minimum of 11 years of experience in MS Exchange engineering</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Key Technical Skills</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Directory: Architecture, design, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting</li>\n <li>Exchange Administration: Experience with transitioning from on-premises Exchange Servers to Exchange Server online with Microsoft 365 (M365), as well as administration in a hybrid environment with M365 and on-premises infrastructure</li>\n <li>Database Availability Groups (DAGs): Proven experience implementing and troubleshooting DAGs</li>\n <li>Performance Troubleshooting: Practical experience troubleshooting MS Exchange server and Windows server performance issues</li>\n <li>Independent Work: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li>\n <li>Technical Issue Management: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Set customer expectations</li>\n   <li>Devise and implement action plans</li>\n   <li>Communicate professionally with all parties</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Security Development Operations (SecDevOps): Familiarity with iterative development projects and SecDevOps principles</li>\n <li>Communication Technologies: Experience with various communication technologies and solution architectures</li>\n <li>ServiceNow: Proficiency with the ServiceNow ticketing system</li>\n <li>Authentication and Authorization (A&A) and Service Support Processes (SSP): Experience with A&A and SSP processes, including documentation</li>\n <li>Technical Support: Experience in Tier 3 and 4 support</li>\n <li>Development Methodologies and Skills</li>\n <li>Agile Development: Experience with Agile development methodologies</li>\n <li>Programming Languages: Familiarity with modern software languages, such as Java, C++, C#, Python, Perl, etc.</li>\n <li>Automation: Ability to automate tasks using PowerShell scripts</li>\n <li>Microsoft Administration or Engineering Certifications: Holding certifications in Microsoft administration or engineering, including Azure certifications</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What you can expect from us</h2>\n<p><em>BCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
