    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">POSITION TYPE</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">SIM Member or Associate- Two-year assignment <br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Availability- Preference for Full-Time work; flexible hours per week negotiable</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Salary- </span><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">This position is for a fully or partially funded Member or Associate.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold;\">LOCATION</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Must have reliable internet connection</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Easy access for international travel- Some travel will be required, but most work will be conducted via conference calls or email<br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">POSITION PURPOSE</span></span></p>\n<p><span>This is a strategic opportunity to lead the continued implementation and development of Oracle NetSuite Finance Software in SIM offices around the world. </span><br><br></p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES </span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">FINANCE SOFTWARE LEAD<br></span></p>\n<p>GOAL: SIM SUCCESSFULLY UTILISES ORACLE NETSUITE FINANCE SOFTWARE THROUGHOUT 50+ SIM ENTITIES.<br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Operate as the Finance (functional) owner of SIM’s use and development of Oracle NetSuite finance software.</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate with other non-Finance users of NetSuite to ensure full integration.</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate with other stakeholders of IT systems used within SIM to ensure best integrated solutions.  </span></li>\n<li><span>Lead the implementation of NetSuite financials to the SIM entities that are yet to implement.</span></li>\n<li><span>Provide the main accounting input to the implementation and development team.</span></li>\n<li><span>Become fluent in SIM finance systems and processes.</span></li>\n<li><span>Manage support to users of the NetSuite system, in conjunction with others in the Finance and IT teams.</span></li>\n<li><span>Recommend and implement changes to SIM global finance processes to enable best practice use of software tools.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ensure any changes in SIM practices and processes during implementation of software, are fully documented.</span></li>\n<li><span>Advise Global Director of Finance of any significant issues arising with software, with possible action plans.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES</span></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Promotion of financial needs of SIM ministries, projects, or personal support as agreed with supervisor.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Miscellaneous duties as required.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">PERSON SPECIFICATION/QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">ESSENTIAL:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Agreement and understanding of the SIM Statement of Faith and Core Values </span></li>\n<li>Professional Accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CA etc.) or similar level of expertise through experience<br></li>\n<li>Technically strong in accounting and comfortable with handling complex scenarios<br></li>\n<li>Experience in accounting software, systems, and processes<br></li>\n<li>Ability to delegate tasks and manage a team<br></li>\n<li>Ability to thrive in a team but also be proactive and free thinking in suggesting solutions</li>\n<li>Oral and written fluency in English and good communication skills<br></li>\n<li>Excellent administrative and computer skills including MS office programs<br></li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively across cultures<br></li>\n<li>Experience and ability in working remotely from other team members and supervisor<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">DESIRABLE:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior Oracle NetSuite experience<br></li>\n<li>Prior software implementation experience<br></li>\n<li>Knowledge of SIM policies, principles, and practices</li>\n<li>Cross-cultural experience</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of French or Spanish<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
