    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<table>\n <tbody>\n  <tr>\n   <td>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p>\n    <p><i>.</i><strong>PRIMARY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n    <ul>\n     <li><i>Manage and troubleshoot machine computer control systems (PLCs, VFDs, sensors, FactoryTalk).</i></li>\n     <li><i>Develop and update standard work procedures, manufacturing instructions, and machine settings.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Actively collaborate with Quality and Training teams to ensure SOPs reflect current best practices and that new equipment/processes are adequately documented and trained.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Support development and execution of preventive maintenance programs with Maintenance.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Collaborate with Maintenance and direct task assignments to reduce downtime and extend asset life.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Participate in capital project scoping, equipment upgrades, commissioning, and post-install support.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Interface with equipment vendors and suppliers during selection, specification, and troubleshooting of equipment and materials.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Coordinate contractors and ensure adherence to HSE policies and facility standards.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Ensure all equipment and processes comply with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Design tooling, jigs, molds, and fixtures using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Optimize equipment and processes to improve safety, quality, and throughput.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Conduct time studies and process evaluations to support continuous improvement and waste reduction.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Support ERP updates (BOMs, routings, time standards) and maintain accurate documentation for equipment and processes.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Work with the Product Material &amp; Routing Specialist for these updates within ERP.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Interface with R&amp;D and Quality to support testing, product changes, and production challenges.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Manage or support small-to-medium capital projects for facility and equipment enhancements.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Provide technical guidance to production and maintenance staff on mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Assist with the preparation of technical procedures and training materials.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Lead or participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or other structured continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, optimize cycle times, and improve overall equipment effectiveness.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Provide data and reporting for production KPIs, improvement projects, and downtime analysis.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Work cross-functionally to drive adoption of new processes and equipment by coaching production staff and ensuring robust change control practices.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Contribute to long-term manufacturing strategies through technical insights, cost-benefit analysis, and benchmarking of best practices across facilities.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Travel up to 10% to support capital projects, equipment commissioning, audits, or process improvements at multiple FGS locations.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Perform additional duties as required to meet plant operational goals.</i></li>\n    </ul>\n    <p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n    <ul>\n     <li><i>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).</i></li>\n     <li><i>3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environments.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience.</i></li>\n     <li><i>Experience with preventive maintenance planning and implementation preferred.</i></li>\n    </ul>\n    <p><i>Project management experience is a plus.</i></p>\n    <p><i>In Washington state, this role will pay between 85K-95k Base Salary&nbsp;</i></p></td>\n  </tr>\n </tbody>\n</table>",
