    "requisitionDescription": "<p><img src=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/cccustom/Client/Recruitment/tds_logo-color72dpi_acc1f533-91a7-4a91-b523-74cb3b0a536b.jpg\" style=\"width: 300px;\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib\" filepath=\"/Client/Recruitment/tds_logo-color72dpi_acc1f533-91a7-4a91-b523-74cb3b0a536b.jpg\" status=\"success\" isreadonly=\"false\" requestresponseid=\"85d857ea-f61c-405a-93ae-2dbab1ab7167\" servertimetaken=\"911\"></p><p><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>JOB SUMMARY</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Generator Mechanic performs repairs, diagnostics and preventative maintenance on generators and small equipment and completes scheduled and unscheduled repairs based on work orders in the repair tracking system.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>CORE RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform repairs, diagnostics and preventative maintenance on generators and small equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform basic intermediate inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs and replacements following company guidelines on small company equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Create and process work orders.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Document repair operations and time-tracking in accordance with company procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist co-workers with diagnostics and repairs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Requisition parts through the Purchasing Department.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct technical inspections and documenting findings.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain repair order documentation to include repair description, parts used and repair times.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform monthly inventories as required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure work area is clean and neat.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comply with company safety policies and with applicable state and federal regulations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Immediately report any safety violations and correcting unsafe acts or conditions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as assigned.</li></ol></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>REQUIRED SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">At least one year of experience with mechanical repair, e.g., automotive, power equipment, refrigeration, small engine</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated mechanical repair skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Time management skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must possess own tools</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>PREFERRED SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">At least one year of experience using the Microsoft Office suite of products &ndash; i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">College or technical school-level coursework in automotive maintenance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Vocational certificate or Associate&#39;s degree in generator technology</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>REQUIRED LICENSES &amp; CERTIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 2.8000000000000007px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Valid Class C driver&rsquo;s license</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Safe driving for the last three years</li></ul></div>\n",
