Description

Overview Serves the public and promotes good customer relations. Conducts a variety of activities related to retirement accounts in conformance with established Bank policies, procedures and objectives. Performs any functions, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers. Responsibilities Provides counsel and assistance to customers and serves as a technical resource to the Bank staff. Processes daily retirement activity. Ensures accuracy and completeness of documentation. Maintains files and prepares periodic reports. Notifies customers relative to distribution requirements. Reviews options, verifies that legal requirements are satisfied and processes distribution, rollover and transfer requests. Responds to inquiries from customers and other Bank personnel. Researches and resolves questions within scope of authority and expertise. Refers more complex problems to supervisor. Maintains proficiency in retirement plan rules and regulations. Attends relevant courses and seminars. Refers sales opportunities to other departments or bank affiliates in support of established objective. Ensures full compliance with the Bank’s Information Security Policies and Procedures. Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed guidelines. Performs related and unrelated duties as may be required. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent plus specialized course work in retirement products. At least one year customer service or retirement planning position. Must be detail oriented and demonstrate effective customer service skills and telephone techniques. Must be able to perform basic math procedures. Thorough understanding of retirement and related financial products rules and regulations. Must possess at least intermediate technology skills, including knowledge of word processing, database and spreadsheet applications. Must be able to work extended and weekend hours. Expected Pay Range The expected annual pay range for this role is $41,097 to $62,682. This pay range is the annual salary we in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation paid may fluctuate higher or lower than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future due to several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, certifications, and qualifications, internal equity, adjustments to the requirements and responsibilities of the job, business needs, and economic and market data.
