Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Novelis has approximately 13,000 employees in 32 operating facilities on 4 continents.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities & Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</li>\n <li>Inspect, analyze, test, measure, repair and perform full or partial overhauls on any of the assemblies and sub-assemblies of heavy-duty Diesel engines and gas powered equipment.</li>\n <li>Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.</li>\n <li>Corrects equipment deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.</li>\n <li>Perform basic gas cutting, brazing, and arc welding.</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tools, and shop on a daily basis.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all Company Policies and Work Rules. </li>\n <li>Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.</li>\n <li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Adhere to and support company quality, environmental, health & safety, and certification standards, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, IATF 16949:2016, and ASI Certifications, where applicable.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Location Profile</h2>\n<p>Opened in 1985 the Uhrichsville facility produces flat rolled aluminum sheet. The rolling mill cold rolls aluminum sheet to a desired gauge anneals to temper levels and slits the rolled sheet to size.
