Understand all functions of the POS system.</li>\n <li>Make change properly.</li>\n <li>Be proficient in opening and closing a shift, including completing all paperwork.</li>\n <li>Use credit card equipment.</li>\n <li>Process all sales quickly and accurately.</li>\n <li>Insure all items are properly stocked and priced correctly.</li>\n <li>Read and follow directions.</li>\n <li>Check in vendor delivery.</li>\n <li>Assist in ordering.</li>\n <li>Understand fuel inventory reports.</li>\n <li>Clean and sanitize equipment and perform simple maintenance.</li>\n <li>Keep store neat and clean, inside and outside.</li>\n <li>Recognize problems and report them to management.</li>\n <li>Project a positive attitude.</li>\n <li>Responsible for all aspects of food operations and handling/storage of product.  Complies with all food handling guidelines to meet or exceed state/federal regulations.</li>\n <li>Ensure a clean and healthy food service environment for our customers and associates by following proper cooking procedures and temperature holding temps.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all food products are stored properly, rotated and code dated with expiration dates.  Also ensure that all food products whether cooked or stored are held at proper temperatures.</li>\n <li>Responsible for temperature testing food to ensure proper food safety and quality control.</li>\n <li>Providing friendly and competent customer service.</li>\n <li>Reporting for work in a timely manner when scheduled with regular and consistent attendance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Additional Job Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assisting in other duties, as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This job has no supervisory responsibilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Retail or guest service experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to work the POS system efficiently.</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write and perform math skills.</li>\n <li>Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.</li>\n <li>Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates excellent communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must be well groomed and properly attired.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed.</li>\n <li>Must have reliable transportation and phone.</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE</li>\n <li>Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.</li>\n <li>Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong>  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Sales Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
