Overview The Energy Pricing Analyst II is responsible for delivering pricing/estimating for EaaS projects. The Energy Pricing Analyst needs to plan and independently perform assignments with technical guidance for unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval of proposed project plans. May supervise less experienced engineers or technicians while managing specific projects. They will be fully competent in all conventional aspects of subject matter or functional area of assignments. Responsibilities include the ability to plan and conduct work requiring judgement in independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Responsibilities Coordinate with clients, external resources, equipment vendors, and internal team members to ensure that the client requirements have been accurately documented and communicated to all parties. Manage all incoming project information from internal and external stakeholders; and distribute to project team. Continuously track project metrics to ensure that the project is delivered on time, and on budget. Conducts site surveys to determine existing facility conditions with a keen eye on the construction aspect related to project pricing. Manage all aspects of pricing for projects including constructability narratives, direct contractor pricing, financial pricing model, definitive transaction documents, etc. Accompanies senior level staff/project manager in the project transition process from the pricing team to the program management team. Actively attend in-house and external training sessions to obtain knowledge in necessary technical areas related to building systems. Participate in industry organizations and attends events, meetings, and activities. Uphold the Company owner advocacy philosophy and organizational core values. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from a four year ABET accredited university or equivalent industry experience pricing design build projects. 2-4 years' experience in project estimating/pricing. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and aptitude. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written format Ability to communicate effectively with facility managers and engineers. Ability to work independently to meet deadlines while on survey. Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines. Ability to use technology and apps for collecting data while on survey. Passion for quality and client satisfaction Effective verbal and written communication skills. Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast paced environment. Well versed in the industry and the Company's competitors. Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications Prefer 1-3 years of energy related client interface for an engineering design firm. Preferred experience with building energy services in the health and higher-education field. Experience with financial plans and budget objectives. Knowledge of the comprehensive business model and energy market dynamics. Knowledge of the energy industry and related law, systems, codes and economics Travel Requirements 5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location. Physical Activities Climbing stairs. Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another Environmental Conditions Quiet environment Physical Demands Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds Pay Range USD $66,760.00 - USD $89,180.00 /Yr.
