What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting mission-critical enterprise IT systems? We’re looking for a system administrator with experience supporting enterprise UNIX and Windows environments in a Tier 1 and Tier 2 capacity to help us maintain and enhance secure infrastructure environments supporting federal mission operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a system administrator on our project, you’ll support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems; manage day-to-day system operations; monitor infrastructure health; and apply patches and updates to maintain system security and performance. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like cloud-based infrastructure support and containerized environments. The world can’t wait. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>You Have:</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>10+ years of experience providing implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for enterprise IT systems </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>10+ years of experience supporting Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution in client/server environments</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience administering and maintaining UNIX and Windows operating systems in enterprise environments </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience managing day-to-day IT system operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client, server, storage, and network devices</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of system performance optimization and capacity planning principles</li>\n <li>Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex IT system issues in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate technical status and issue resolution updates to management and internal stakeholders</li>\n <li>TS/SCI with a polygraph</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Cyber Security and 10+ years of experience in systems administration or HS Diploma or GED and 15+ years of experience in systems administration</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Nice If You Have:</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting dispatch systems and hardware lifecycle management</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of network components and enterprise infrastructure environments</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to support cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and support teams</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Possession of strong analytical and troubleshooting skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clearance: </strong> </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p>Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69.72 to $79.33 per hour.
