We invite you to join us in our vision of &ldquo;Making Lives Better!&rdquo;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential duties and responsibilities of the Caregiver:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Caregiver performs direct care services for individuals attending the Day habilitation/I.S.S. program</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides supervision and care to clients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsibilities of this position include feeding, toileting, transportation, escort to medical appointments and teaching social and independent living skills to verbal and non-verbal individuals</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Requires staff to also work weekends and holidays</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for attending to the needs of the persons in the home. Responsibilities include, preparing meals, feeding, toileting, transportation, medication distribution, and teaching social and independent skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works under the supervision of the Director of Specialized Services</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete necessary documentation within requested timelines</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Meet established productivity standards</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Has no financial responsibility but is accountable for assigned property</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adheres to the TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required qualifications of the Caregiver to be successful in the job:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma or GED</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">One semester (12 credit hours) of accredited college work; or minimum of eighth grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE) test</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Some experience assisting in arts and crafts, music, education, recreation, vocational therapy, physical therapy, or occupational therapy</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to work three shifts per month in the group home where the staff will be responsible for attending to the needs of the people in the home</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to complete Caregiver training program meeting all minimum requirement for this classification</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Employees may be required to utilize their personal mobile phones for two-factor authentication (2FA).
