This fellowship will provide early-career professionals with hands-on experience addressing the fast-moving regulatory and policy challenges related to emerging technologies—<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">AI, automated mobility, </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">data privacy, antitrust, and digital assets</span>—shaping the future of California’s innovation economy.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About the Fellowship</span></p>\n<p>This fellowship is part of SVLG’s <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Policy Fellowship Program</span> and is embedded in our <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Technology + Innovation Center of Expertise (COE)</span>. You’ll join a cross-functional cohort of fellows across other issue areas, supporting SVLG’s real-time advocacy, monitoring key regulatory developments and helping to shape the AI and innovation policy conversation.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Key Issue Areas</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Artificial Intelligence governance and deployment</li>\n<li>Autonomous and connected mobility</li>\n<li>Antitrust and competition frameworks</li>\n<li>Data privacy and cybersecurity</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Primary Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research and synthesize complex policy proposals and legislative trends</li>\n<li>Draft bill briefs, internal memos, and stakeholder updates</li>\n<li>Help shape SVLG responses to state and federal regulatory proposals</li>\n<li>Support convenings with member companies and public officials</li>\n<li>Track key hearings and provide rapid policy analysis</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Ideal Candidate</span></p>\n<p>This fellowship is ideal for <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">current undergraduates or recent graduates</span> seeking career paths in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">public policy, political science, law, or tech policy</span>.
