Deliver Exceptional Craftsmanship.</span></p>\n<p>Legacy Mechanical is seeking an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Journeyman Pipefitter / Journeyman HVAC Installer</span> with strong commercial mechanical piping experience to join our construction team. This position is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely, and has experience installing hydronic and HVAC piping systems and equipment.</p>\n<p>If you are proficient in copper piping, grooved piping systems, equipment installation, and  mechanical room construction, we want to hear from you.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span></p>\n<p>The Journeyman Pipefitter is responsible for the installation, testing, and startup of commercial HVAC and mechanical piping systems. This role requires a strong understanding of hydronic systems, mechanical equipment installation, and construction best practices.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mechanical Piping Installation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install commercial HVAC and hydronic piping systems according to plans and specifications.</li>\n<li>Perform brazing and soldering of copper piping systems.</li>\n<li>Install grooved piping systems and related components.</li>\n<li>Install valves, pumps, specialties, and associated piping equipment.</li>\n<li>Ensure all piping installations meet quality standards and code requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Equipment Installation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install and connect mechanical equipment including:\n<ul>\n<li>Boilers</li>\n<li>Chillers</li>\n<li>Cooling Towers</li>\n<li>Fan Coil Units</li>\n<li>Pumps and Hydronic Equipment</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Assist with equipment rigging, setting, piping, and startup activities.</li>\n<li>Coordinate equipment installation with other trades and project personnel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Testing &amp; Quality Control</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform pressure testing, flushing, and startup preparation of piping systems.</li>\n<li>Verify proper installation and operation of mechanical systems.</li>\n<li>Assist with commissioning activities and project closeout requirements.</li>\n<li>Complete required project documentation accurately and timely.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety &amp; Compliance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.</li>\n<li>Install seismic bracing and supports in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.</li>\n<li>Identify and communicate potential jobsite hazards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team Collaboration</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with Project Managers, Foremen, and fellow technicians to ensure successful project execution.</li>\n<li>Communicate project progress, material needs, and field challenges effectively.</li>\n<li>Support Legacy Mechanical's commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Journeyman-level experience in pipefitting, HVAC installation, or mechanical construction.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in brazing and soldering copper piping systems.</li>\n<li>Experience installing grooved piping systems.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of hydronic, chilled water, condenser water, and heating water piping systems.</li>\n<li>Experience with seismic bracing installation and mechanical supports.</li>\n<li>Experience installing boilers, chillers, cooling towers, fan coil units, pumps, and related mechanical equipment.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings.</li>\n<li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li>\n<li>OSHA 10 certification preferred.</li>\n<li>Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical Piping Expertise</li>\n<li>Quality Workmanship</li>\n<li>Safety Awareness</li>\n<li>Problem Solving</li>\n<li>Accountability</li>\n<li>Teamwork &amp; Communication</li>\n<li>Attention to Detail</li>\n<li>Customer Focus</li>\n</ul>",
