    "description": "<p>Woods Machinery is seeking an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Outdoor Power Equipment Mechanic</span> to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of the outdoor power equipment brands we represent and support.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with small engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components, along with a commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on outdoor power equipment including, but not limited to: commercial mowers, stand-on and walk-behind units, compact tractors, utility vehicles, blowers, chainsaws, and other landscape equipment.</li>\n<li>Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, blade sharpening, belt replacement, and equipment inspections.</li>\n<li>Conduct thorough equipment inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.</li>\n<li>Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.</li>\n<li>Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and maintain detailed service records.</li>\n<li>Consistently achieve and adhere to the allocated flat-rate or estimated hours for each repair task.</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.</li>\n<li>Assist with equipment setup and pre-delivery inspections as needed.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hourly pay + overtime opportunities<br></li>\n<li>Health, vision &amp; dental insurance</li>\n<li>Tool reimbursement program</li>\n<li>Paid time-off (vacation and personal days)</li>\n<li>401K Retirement Plan with company matching</li>\n<li>Company supplied uniforms</li>\n<li>Manufacturer sponsored training (in-person and online)</li>\n<li>Career advancement opportunities</li>\n<li>Company outings and monthly lunch</li>\n<li>Employee discounts on products sold by the company</li>\n<li>Employee referral bonus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated experience as an Outdoor Power Equipment Mechanic or Small Engine Mechanic.</li>\n<li>Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with gasoline engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic components.</li>\n<li>Experience servicing commercial landscaping equipment such as mowers, blowers, chainsaws, and compact utility equipment.</li>\n<li>Proficient with computers and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>\n<li>Strong commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li>\n<li>Technical training or certifications related to small engines, electrical systems, and equipment repair are preferred.</li>\n<li>Must possess standard tools required for equipment repairs.</li>\n<li>Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n<li>Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, dust, and noise.</li>\n<li>Willingness to work overtime when business demands require.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Us:</span><br></p>\n<p><span>Woods Machinery is a second-generation family owned business providing equipment sales, rentals, and product support since 1984.
