You will play a critical role in building, scaling, and maintaining our Kubernetes-based platform, enabling our engineering organization to deliver products quickly and reliably. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, solve challenging problems, and contribute to the foundation of our infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical background, a passion for automation, and a collaborative mindset.</span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>This role involves collaborating with teams across multiple locations and time zones. You will need to be adept at communicating effectively and building strong relationships with colleagues in diverse locations.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><b>Responsibilities:</b></b></p><ul><li><p>Design and implement: <span>Design, develop, and implement solutions for our Kubernetes </span><span>platform, including infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.</span></p></li><li><p>Build and maintain: <span>Build and maintain core platform components, ensuring high </span><span>availability, scalability, and security.</span></p></li><li><p>Automate and optimize:<span> Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management</span><span>, and application deployments using tools like Terraform and Argo CD.</span></p></li><li><p>Troubleshooting and support: <span>Provide support and troubleshooting for platform-related </span><span>issues, working closely with development teams to resolve problems.</span></p></li><li><p>Security and compliance: <span>Implement and maintain security best practices for the </span><span>platform, ensuring compliance with industry standards.</span></p></li><li><p>Documentation and knowledge sharing: <span>Create and maintain comprehensive</span></p></li><li><p><span>documentation for platform components and processes. An active TS/SCI w/CI </b></b><b><b>Poly is preferred.</b></b></p><p></p><p><b><b>Basic Qualifications:</b></b></p><ul><li><span>5&#43; years of hands-on experience working with infrastructure, either on-premises or cloud-based, with a deep understanding of systems architecture, networking, and security.</span></li><li><span>Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, architecture, and administration.</span></li><li><span>Bachelor&#39;s degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience</span></li></ul><p><br /><b><b>Other Qualifications</b></b></p><ul><li>Preferred <b>DoD 8570/8140 compliant</b> with at least <b>IAT Level II</b> certification, including a current <b>Computing Environment (CE)</b> credential and one approved specialty certification (e.g., CompTIA CySA&#43;, GICSP, CASP&#43;)</li><li>Infrastructure as code: <span>Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.</span></li><li>CI/CD: <span>Experience with building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and tools like Argo CD.</span></li><li>Cloud experience: <span>3&#43; years experience working with AWS cloud services in a</span> <span>production setting.</span></li><li>Programming skills: <span>Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably GoLang or Python</span>.</li><li>Problem-solving: <span>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</span></li><li>Communication: <span>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Nice to haves:</b></b></p><ul><li><span>Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).</span></li><li><span>Experience with security auditing and compliance frameworks.</span></li><li><span>Experience with Apache Spark, Docker, Kubernetes</span></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><br /><b>Workday Pay Transparency Statement</b></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><span>The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
