It is the responsibility of the Director of Clinical Education to prepare the students for their clinical experience with lab practice, classroom lectures and scheduling of physicals, background clinical affiliation agreements (contracts) as required by the program\n  <ul>\n   <li>Maintain affiliation agreements and ensure timely renewals of expiring contracts</li>\n   <li>Regularly visit affiliates and validate clinical objectives are delivered appropriately to students</li>\n   <li>Evaluate and validate the clinical education affiliate's appropriateness and effectiveness</li>\n   <li>Document and record clinical site visit</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Create, maintain and audit student records (e.g. immunizations, background checks, and drug testing); Affirm compliance with clinical affiliate requirements</li>\n <li>Develop, monitor, and refine the clinical education component of the curriculum\n  <ul>\n   <li>Coordinate clinical education with didactic education</li>\n   <li>Schedule students in appropriate clinical rotations</li>\n   <li>Monitor and affirm that students neet clinical education requirements</li>\n   <li>Provide supervision of students while onsite clinical affiliate location(s)</li>\n   <li>Review and monitor clinical documentation is complete, accurate, and securely maintained</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Orient and train clinical instructors and preceptors at clinical sites</li>\n <li>Participate in the local professional community to raise awareness of the institution, enhance student opportunities, and build professional networks</li>\n <li>Actively participate in student, campus, and community activities as required</li>\n <li>Provide instruction in both the Clinical and Didactic aspects of the program\n  <ul>\n   <li>Organize and deliver class objectives in a clear, concise manner</li>\n   <li>Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments</li>\n   <li>Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve academic and professional success</li>\n   <li>Identify and report on any at-risk students; creates individualized success plans to mitigate attrition</li>\n   <li>Foster relationships with students to help them meet program competency requirements</li>\n   <li>Meet with students and education personnel to discuss instructional programs and related progress</li>\n   <li>Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on assigned topics, diagnostic procedures, equipment operation and troubleshooting, etc.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Promote and enforce safety and compliance standards in labs and clinical environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Establish/maintain a high performance team of professional, motivated and engaged staff utilizing employee contributions and achievements</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (required)</li>\n <li>Minimum of four (4) years professional experience in OB/GYN and/or abdominal sonography with a minimum of two (2) years in abdomen and OB/GYN (required)</li>\n <li>Teaching experience in a clinical setting (preferred)</li>\n <li>Unencumbered RDMS certification with specializations in OBGYN or Abdominals (required) </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in curriculum development, teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and guidance</li>\n <li>Independently manage complex tasks and projects</li>\n <li>Coach and mentor junior team members</li>\n <li>Analyze
