This role is designed for an experienced Professional Engineer (PE) who wants full project ownership, client leadership, and long-term career growth within a collaborative consulting environment. You will lead the delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects that enhance public health and environmental quality.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage municipal water and wastewater projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction</li>\n <li>Ensure schedule adherence, budget control, and quality standards</li>\n <li>Build and nurture client partnerships, understanding their needs and delivering creative, cost-effective solutions</li>\n <li>Manage contracts, purchase orders, project documentation, and daily correspondence with clients and subcontractors</li>\n <li>Take charge of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, while ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting</li>\n <li>Lead monthly project review meetings, communicating progress and updates to clients, management, and project teams</li>\n <li>Develop and implement health and safety plans, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements</li>\n <li>Embrace a “seller/doer” mindset, actively developing new business opportunities and expanding services provided</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience; minimum of 4 years of project management experience required</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license required</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)</li>\n <li>Strong technical background in design, construction and rehabilitation for water/wastewater conveyance and treatment </li>\n <li>Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks</li>\n <li>Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and multitasking skills</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws</li>\n <li>Strong skills in project accounting, budgeting, and financial management</li>\n <li>Proven ability to prepare scopes, budgets, contracts and proposals</li>\n <li>Experience interpreting client contracts and managing multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated success in managing client relationships</li>\n <li>Articulate communicator who adapts messaging for diverse audiences</li>\n <li>Proficiency in MS Office required; knowledge of Deltek Vision, MS Project, or Primavera P6 is a plus</li>\n <li>Ability to travel as needed</li>\n <li>Consulting industry experience highly preferred</li>\n <li>Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Advance your career in a collaborative environment that values innovation and sustainability</li>\n <li>Flexible work environment with opportunities for local and occasional travel</li>\n <li>Make a real impact by helping deliver clean water and safe wastewater solutions to communities</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious about the impactful work our Water team is doing?
