    "description": "<p>We are hiring an electrician to perform skilled electrical work to include the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures within a designated facility or set of facilities. The Electrician shall minimize downtime, reduce overall operation costs, and ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>What you will support:</p>\n<p>US Army Chemical and Biological Center</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Routine inspections and testing on electrical systems to include: wiring; fixtures; appliances; and distribution systems up to 600 volts.</li>\n<li>Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and system failures to identify the root cause and implement effective solutions.</li>\n<li>Perform repairs, replacements, and modifications of electrical components to include: breakers; switches, wiring; and other related parts IAW relevant electrical codes.</li>\n<li>Interpret electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to understand system design and determine appropriate methods for repairs and installations.</li>\n<li>Provide preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure their optimal functioning and longevity.</li>\n<li>Ensure all electrical systems and installations adhere to applicable electrical industry codes, safety standards, and regulations (i.e., NFPA 70E, OSHA, etc.).</li>\n<li>Provide technical assistance and recommendations regarding the purchase and installation of new or replacement electrical equipment.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, materials used, and system performance.<br>Collaborate with other maintenance Personnel and departments to prioritize work, resolve issues, and ensure operational efficiency.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Required Experience</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lightning Protection Institute (LPI) Certified Installer or equivalent</li>\n<li>NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Level II or higher in Lightning<br>Protection</li>\n<li>OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification</li>\n<li>Minimum of (12) Years of Residential or Commercial Electrical Experience and High School Diploma/GED, and an active CLASS C Driver’s License</li>\n</ul>\n<p>or</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of (8) Years of Residential or Commercial Electrical Experience, High School Diploma/GED,<br>Construction or Trade Certification, and an active CLASS C Driver’s License</li>\n</ul>\n<p>or </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of (4) Years of Residential or Commercial Electrical Experience, High School Diploma/GED,<br>Journeyman Level or Higher Electrician State License(Shall work under a Master Electrician if a Journeyman), and an active CLASS C Driver’s License.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
