          "text": "<p><strong>**By applying to this job, you are&#xa0;applying for the&#xa0;<u>2026 FALL TURNAROUND</u>.&#xa0;This role would be joining&#xa0;CEDA’s Mobile Workforce which staffs our turnaround events throughout the year.**</strong></p><p><strong>Details:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Start Date</strong>: Intake dates starting <strong>mid August</strong></li><li><strong>Duration</strong>: The project(s) will last anywhere from&#xa0;2&#xa0;to 8&#xa0;weeks. There is the possibility for redeployment to other projects or full-time work upon project completion</li><li><strong>Location</strong>: Positions available throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario</li><li><strong>Compensation:&#xa0;</strong>Candidates coming from out of town, rates start at $29/hr (travel and accommodations provided). Candidates local to the operating region,&#xa0;rates range from $29-$35/hr.&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Shift:&#xa0;</strong>6x1 or 12x2 shifts&#xa0;at 10-12 hours per day, days and nights.&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Overtime:&#xa0;</strong>Overtime eligible! Shifts are based on an&#xa0;8/44 rule.&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Accommodation and Travel</strong>: Provided by CEDA for candidates that are not local to the area</li><li><strong>Training:&#xa0;</strong>you can build your skill set and equipment knowledge and acquire various industry tickets through CEDA's shutdown training program.</li></ul><p><strong>What you do:</strong></p><ul><li>Work alongside Labourers assisting with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools</li><li>Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour intensive capacity</li><li>Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back</li><li>Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment</li><li>Ensure safety for all team members and property</li><li>Provide quality services to our clients</li><li>Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment</li><li>Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done.</li><li>Haul hoses, PPE and tools to where the work is being done</li><li>Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs</li><li>Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time</li><li>Other duties as assigned&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Valid Class 1 or 3 licence</strong>&#xa0;with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3&#xa0;years is required</li><li>Must have experience operating a manual transmission</li><li>1+ years of labour or operator experience in an industrial environment is an asset</li><li>Valid&#xa0;<a href=\"https://www.energysafetycanada.com/Course/12364\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CSO</a>&#xa0;certification (or combination of CSTS-09 and OSSA Regional or BSO) is required</li><li><a href=\"https://www.energysafetycanada.com/Course/10174\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Confined Space</a>&#xa0;and&#xa0;<a href=\"https://www.energysafetycanada.com/Course/12300\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fall Protection</a>&#xa0;certifications are an asset</li><li>We have great training and your ability to read and write will ensure you meet the testing requirements</li><li>Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test</li></ul><p><strong>The skills that make you a great fit:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong mechanical aptitude</li><li>You have a positive attitude and are eager to learn</li><li>You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment</li><li>Able to perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)</li><li>No issues working at heights or in confined spaces</li><li>You’re happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely</li></ul><p><strong>Who Loves This Job</strong></p><p>Grit.
