The Financial Analyst is responsible for all financial activities of assigned strategic accounts and company initiatives; responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a profitable financial program by presenting performance/evaluation measures to Senior Management. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the Sales Team and other internal support teams for the achievement of revenue generation, inventory turnover improvement and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:</p>\n<p>· Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all Finance teammates during planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review.</p>\n<p>· Assist in performing financial analysis of product line performance on a macro and micro basis both internally and externally, making recommendations as needed.</p>\n<p>· Calculate and assess financial growth opportunities by partnering with Sales across strategic customer accounts.</p>\n<p>· Developing internal company forecasts to Improve inventory turnover &amp; valuation</p>\n<p>· Research, communicate and resolve financial issues critical to servicing internal and external personnel in a timely manner.</p>\n<p>· Assist with business processes, working directly with the Finance and Business Managers.</p>\n<p>· Identify sales and market trends in advance to help build proposals that allow for improvement of bottom-line profit margins.</p>\n<p>· Work directly with teammates to properly forecast upcoming programs on an as-needed basis.</p>\n<p>· Create and run sales reports on a consistent and as-needed basis. PivotTables are a must.</p>\n<p>· Other data analytics projects on an as needed basis to support other departments.</p>\n<p>· Treats others with respect and conducts themselves in a positive and inclusive manner daily.</p>\n<p>· Performs other duties as assigned.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:</p>\n<p>· A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field of study.</p>\n<p>· One to two years of professional experience with financial analytics, forecasting model and accounting background preferred.</p>\n<p>· Must have strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, including building models, data mining and on-line market research.</p>\n<p>· Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, including PivotTables.</p>\n<p>· Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems.</p>\n<p>· Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment.</p>\n<p>· Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and model, procedural controls, and data validation techniques.</p>\n<p>· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p>\n<p>· Strong ability to interact with Senior Management.</p>\n<p>· Ability to maintain focus for extended periods of time</p>\n<p>· Ability to utilize a computer continuously</p>\n<p>· Ability to sit and/or stand continuously</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>At Fanatics, we value transparency and honesty.
