    "description": "<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>We are a nationally recognized fire protection company that engineers, fabricates, and installs fire sprinkler systems and alarms for structures including commercial buildings, government buildings, healthcare facilities, high-rise condominiums, and mixed-use projects.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>Northstar Fire Protection is looking for an Fire Protection Project Manager to lead to the construction of quality and competitive Fire Protection systems in an ever-changing economy.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#shambaugh #Northstar #LI-DF #LI-Onsite</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage multiple projects for Fire Protection Systems.</li>\n <li>Attend project jobsite meetings, start up meetings and understand the complete scope of work required for projects.</li>\n <li>Review and understand all of the project bid documents.</li>\n <li>Assist with change order estimates.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with General contractors and Construction managers for scheduling and other coordination types of meetings.</li>\n <li>Complete equipment submittals of various products for approvals.</li>\n <li>Assist accounting staff with billing information.</li>\n <li>Maintain and follow Operations and Maintenance manuals.</li>\n <li>Work as a team with our engineering and estimating staff.</li>\n <li>Submittal and retrieve permits from local AHJ.</li>\n <li>Purchasing of selected materials for your project.</li>\n <li>Assist and provide support for field operations.</li>\n <li>Able to see the overall requirements of customer satisfaction without losing sight of the details. </li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>General knowledge of construction and fire protection sprinkler / alarm systems</li>\n <li>Computer literate and comfortable with spreadsheets and computerized software programs.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills with customers, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and owners.</li>\n <li>Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
