The Sr. Sleep Technologist, performs procedures appropriate to their competence and credentials. The Sr. Sleep Technologist, is primarily responsible for conducting nighttime sleep studies.&nbsp;<br><br>Think you’ve got what it takes?&nbsp;<br><br>Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provides quality patient-centered neurodiagnostic sleep studies&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrates a mastery of technical and procedural requirements to consistently produce high quality neurodiagnostic sleep studies; can adapt all procedures to clinical circumstances; monitors and/or eliminates causes of artifact; and consistently and properly labels recordings&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Performs neurodiagnostic testing within the Neurophysiology laboratory and as required, in inpatient units according to departmental and AAST standards of care&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensures electrode application in adherence with the International 10–20 System&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Functions independently and can apply basic, intermediate, and advanced waveform recognition, relevant medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, infection control, current HIPPA practices&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrates knowledge of product allergies, movement restrictions and different levels of consciousness the patient may experience &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Performs patient safety measures in accordance with institutional policies, procedures, standards and/or guidelines&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Conducts efficient and accurate scoring, and documenting of sleep studies. Scores sleep/wake stages by applying professionally accepted guidelines &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;When requested performs the below day time duties including conducts efficient and accurate scoring, and reporting of sleep studies &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Communicates effectively with peers and interdisciplinary team&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintains Environment of Care&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Performs other essential job duties&nbsp;<br>As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.&nbsp;</p><p><br>Skills &amp; Requirements&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Required H.S.
