We have an in-house Architectural Finishes &amp; Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman at our Fort Lauderdale office</span>. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will do: </span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and work alongside a construction crew to execute daily job site activities</li>\n<li>Perform hands-on trade work while supervising crew productivity, quality, and safety</li>\n<li>Drywall installation, Drywall Finishing , Metal &amp; Wood door installation, hardware installation</li>\n<li>Perform layout for metal framing, acoustical ceiling grid installation, wood carpentry</li>\n<li>Plan and assign daily and weekly tasks to meet project schedule requirements</li>\n<li>Coordinate closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager on workflow, staffing, and site needs</li>\n<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for crew-level communication</li>\n<li>Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations through daily safety meetings and job hazard awareness</li>\n<li>Identify and resolve field issues early to prevent delays or rework</li>\n<li>Monitor work quality to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and company standards</li>\n<li>Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring crew members</li>\n<li>Track material usage and request tools, equipment, and supplies as needed</li>\n<li>Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas</li>\n<li>Assist with daily reporting, time tracking, and documentation</li>\n<li>Communicate field conditions, changes, and potential issues to site leadership</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will need to be successful: </span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of experience in commercial or residential construction</li>\n<li>Prior experience leading crews in a Working Foreman or Lead role</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of job site safety practices and OSHA regulations</li>\n<li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment</li>\n<li>Willingness to be hands-on and actively work in the field</li>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods</li>\n<li>OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred</li>\n<li>Trade certification or apprenticeship completion preferred</li>\n<li>Familiarity with construction field reporting tools or software a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Rycon Construction, Inc. we believe outstanding employees build the foundation necessary for excellence in business.
