The ideal candidate has a strong background in DevOps and Cloud Engineering, remains actively involved in technical decision-making, and can successfully lead multidisciplinary teams delivering scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.<br>You will partner with technical leads, cloud engineers, DevOps engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful delivery while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.<br><br>Responsibilities<br>Technical Leadership<br>\n</p><ul>\n<li>Provide technical leadership across cloud, DevOps, platform engineering, and infrastructure initiatives.</li>\n<li>Guide architecture and design decisions for cloud-native and distributed systems.</li>\n<li>Drive best practices in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, observability, security, and reliability.</li>\n<li>Participate in architecture reviews, technical assessments, design discussions, and proof-of-concepts.</li>\n<li>Support technical leads in resolving complex engineering challenges and identifying scalable solutions.</li>\n<li>Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and industry trends.</li>\n</ul>\nTeam Leadership &amp; People Management<br>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams consisting of DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Automation Engineers, Technical Leads, and other engineering professionals.</li>\n<li>Coach and develop technical leaders, supporting career growth and succession planning.</li>\n<li>Manage performance reviews, feedback cycles, promotions, and professional development plans.</li>\n<li>Foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.</li>\n<li>Address team challenges, conflicts, and performance concerns effectively.</li>\n</ul>\nDelivery Ownership<br>\n<ul>\n<li>Own delivery outcomes across one or multiple client engagements.</li>\n<li>Ensure successful execution of projects, managed services, and time-and-materials engagements.</li>\n<li>Oversee scope, timelines, quality, release management, operational readiness, and post-production support.</li>\n<li>Monitor and improve engineering delivery metrics, including DORA metrics, cycle time, throughput, reliability, and operational performance.</li>\n<li>Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, blockers, and escalation paths.</li>\n</ul>\nClient-Facing Leadership<br>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as a trusted technical advisor and primary technical point of contact for clients.</li>\n<li>Lead technical reviews, architecture discussions, operational reviews, and executive presentations.</li>\n<li>Communicate delivery status, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Support solutioning activities, estimates, Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, and growth opportunities.</li>\n</ul>\nOperational &amp; Financial Awareness<br>\n<ul>\n<li>Support resource planning, staffing, utilization, and forecasting activities.</li>\n<li>Balance technical excellence with delivery commitments and business objectives.</li>\n<li>Contribute to the financial health and operational success of client engagements.</li>\n</ul>\n<br><br>Required Qualifications<br>\n<ul>\n<li>7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.</li>\n<li>3+ years of experience leading engineering teams and technical leaders.</li>\n<li>Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.</li>\n<li>Experience supporting cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven systems, and modern application platforms.</li>\n<li>Proven experience managing delivery across multiple teams or workstreams.</li>\n<li>Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.</li>\n<li>Experience reviewing technical solutions and guiding architecture decisions.</li>\n<li>Professional-level English communication skills (B2+/C1).</li>\n</ul>\n<br><br>Preferred Qualifications<br>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience leading teams of approximately 15–20 engineers across multiple squads.</li>\n<li>Experience in consulting or client-services environments.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and platform engineering practices.</li>\n<li>Experience with DevSecOps, security automation, and compliance frameworks.</li>\n<li>Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).</li>\n<li>Experience with engineering metrics and operational excellence frameworks.</li>\n</ul>",
